IT WAS SOME WORK.!, The sale associated in NEBRASKA. WAS ABOUT TO THROW IN THE TOWEL, "IN OTHER WORDS , SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY MORE OF THE TOY I wanted for my granddaughter, who is in NEBRASKA. " BUT BECAUSE Trelisha, new the ordering process, and what items certain stores had in stock. She proceeded, in a professional manner to get this item sold. " ALSO TO TAKE CARE OF ME AS A Customer." I HAD TO WRITE THIS REVIEW, IT IS NOT OFTEN THAT YOU CAN TRULY EXPRESS IN WORDS HOW someone can make your day. Trelisha, THANK YOU. FOR A VERY Pleasant and pleasing shopping experience. I went to Toys r us on black Friday, when I got to the register the sales person asked if I wanted to open an Toys r us credit card. I said no. She went on to say " you will receive 50% of your order today and every Tuesday and Thursday you will receive 15% off your order". I looked at my sister who heard the same thing. I repeated to her "50% off my order today"? She said "yes". I said what happens if it doesn't go through? She said " it doesn't matter it only tells the order is processing and you will receive notice in 30 days but you will still get 50% of your order today". Since I had $378.00 worth of toys I said ok. I took the time to fill out the application. She then says $378.oo. I asked what was my discount? She said "it didn't go through". I asked why she said she didn't know. I said but you said even if it didn't go through I would still get 50% off. She said "I don't know". Went to customer service and she thought it was funny. I asked for the manager who tried to be nice but didn't know what to do. I said me applying just brought down my credit score3-5 points and I didn't get a discount. He re rang my order trying to cancel the application but he wasn't sure it would help after he did?! He did tell me she over charged me by $6.00 dollars! Craziness!

Square trade protects from Trade" on gift receipt | Toys R Us review from Burbank, California

My son received a gift (with a gift receipt) from extended family for his birthday. Was told that they bought the protection plan. The bottom of the gift reciept says "one or more items on this receipt include a square trade protection plan. Please retain this reciept for proof of eligibility. for details or service visit squaretrade.com/toysrus or call 1877warranty" I called after the toys broke, and the custmore serivice person said that becuase I didnt have the stores orignal recieprt that they couldnt help me. So they patched me through to toysrus. The person there said he could not provide the info I needed to "trade" my sons broken toy. Is this some kind of joke. Why buy the protection plan if you cant give the item as a gift. Why doesnt someone explain this to customers who are gifting the item bought. The whole thing is a scam and I am so angry about this policy. DONT BUY THE PROTECTION PLAN IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO GIFT THE ITEM. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING WITH A GIFT RECEIPT. The two companies are laughing all the way to the bank.

Black Friday 2015: Big Backyard Premium Charleston Lodge Wood Swing Set (410750) Reg. $1599 Sale. $799.99 You only had 72 total so that left 4 for each store. Are you crazy? This is how you get people killed. This was the most popular deal going on in your store and this item is all people wanted so because you did not have this item you lost out on people spending more money on Black Friday deals. Good job ToysRUs. Obviously you need better management that is in charge of any deals going on in your store. You just lost a valued customer do to trying to put people in danger.

I am from New Jersey and when I went to purchase the swing set there were none in all of New Jersey and New York.

Toys "R" US is a fraud.

It was a classic bait and switch. That should be illegal.

WORST CUSTOMER SEVICE EVERCARMIA WAY RICHMOND,VA | Toys R Us review

Ordered two kids watches and site said they would be ready within the hour.So I waited 4hours hoping to mail them today.Went to store and they still werent ready.So i asked Customer Rep if she could help.Her response was,"there's nothing I can do". Took 30 min to get home only to be notified the items were ready.Worst customer service and lazy ,uninterested employees.I've since checked online and low and behold many others have experienced the same thing.An employee inservice is needed at this store.Things like this turn people off.When they applied for the job i'm sure they didn't give the impression that waiting on customers was a CHORE.

Toys r us is the WORST online shopping experience I have even had. It hasn't been once or twice that I have been screwed over by them it has been many times especially when they are running specials. I recently wanted to purchase a scooter that on my iPhone app gave me the price of 29.99 when I would add it to my car it would change it to 59.99. I've been trying since yesterday to purchase this as it's at the top of my sons Christmas list. I have called twice and tried the chat all day long and they just give me the run around that they are having technical difficulties blah blah blah. It's straight BS!!!! They have lost a customer because I am so tired of not being appreciated as a customer.

Your employee was asked to help me with getting a video game-Memphis Hwy 64 store | Toys R Us review

I asked for help to get a video game out of the locked case from the only person I could see in the video game department and he looked at me like why was I asking him-he had a key around his neck-and he then said ok. I waited for 45 minutes and he never came. This was around 2:30 PM on Thursday, not many people there, but he acted like he was mad at someone or something. Tall, african-american guy who I think might have been the department manager and just didn't want to be bothered. I spend a lot of money at Toys R Us, do not go there very often, but from now on I will try Target first.

Never ever buy a buyers protection plan from toys r us! They will not honor it and give you the run around and false promises. I bought a "bpp" on a ps3 game and tried to get it fixed. Toys R Us was supposed to send me a simple shipping label so I can return the product to get warranty and I have never received one I have made 9 phone calls into formal complaint and was promised to have a supervisor call me back twice and that never happened it is now than 45 days since I initially thought my warranty claim I think Toys R Us is practicing fraudulent business practices by not honoring their warranties on purpose

I have purchased a stroller in babyrus located at la punte hill mall,,la punte,ca - that is a clearance, we had asked that sales a few time what wrong with it, they told us there nothing wrong with it, after we bought it home and do the inspection, we found out the screw that for the wheel lock are broke! lucky we havent let our baby use it yet! and when we call to the store, they keep told us no return for this, and they said they NEVER sell broken item. it is a shame for them that selling broken item for the babies and try to lie to covered their mistake. you guys can see the receipt and the post date are in same day!
