Toys R Us - Customer Care Review
I place a order on the 8th and everything went ok I have not received my stuff yet nor do I think it should be here yet my problem is I woke up this morning and had a 10.85 charge on my credit card and it was not made by me after waiting on hold for a hour and 45 min I was told there was nothing they can do they said somone else made the puruchase and I should take it up with my credit card company mind you the purashce was made at 850 this morning on the 10 I asked why can you just cancelled it they said because we can't I ask to speak to a supervisor and I was told that the supervisor will not get on the phone with me and that there was nothing they could do for me I will no longer do business with them ever again I had this experience once before two years ago and now I'm having it again they could easily just cancel the order and then the thief will not be able to purchase it on my credit card they will not get the item but now they can't cancel it it hasn't been sent out and hasn't been anything they're making it harder for the customer and I will not do business with them ever again and I would suggest nobody else do business with them again it is the Christmas season they suggested it to me if they cancel my credit card on the 10th which will take 2 weeks for me together again which mind you it is a prepaid credit card that I get around the holidays so I don't run out my credit card so now I'm going to have to cancel a credit card that has $700 in cash on it and wait 2 weeks to get it back that doesn't little bit of damage on my car all my Christmas shopping Toys R Us does not help their customers out because they could have easily cancelled it and I know it doesn't seem like much but it's only a $10.84 purchase but I did not make it and they seem to not care about their customers sincerely Melissa Murphy @ brooklyngirl811@***.com

I ordered 2 products off your online service and I am not happy with my product. It took forever to talk to someone in your customer service department all 4 times I called waiting up to 45 minutes on hold.
Then find out one of my products was not shipped in the time I paid extra for and when I finally got it a few days before Christmas we put it together and it was broke and of course being that close to Christmas could not send back to get another because it would take forever again We were able to put together with the broke part . I don't think I spent over $140.
I should have gotten a broke product and will think twice before doing any purchasing with your company again. Sent 3 emails already and have not respond to them.

Today like many years I went to toys r us to conducted my Christmas shopping. This year is even more exciting because I have a brand new infant and I haven't had an infant in my house hold in 8 years!!
Having a masters in Early childhood education I knew exactly what my baby needed. I carefully picked all her toys!! I picked toys for my middle daughter as well. I realized I had two carts and decided I would purchase the bigger most expensive items and put the smaller items on layaway because I was alone.
I had previously took advantage of toys r us layaway in the past. As I proceeded to the checkout register! I pushed one cart then pushed another cart! A store associate stopped me in front of many many people.
I thought maybe she was gonna offer to help me! She asked in a very loud voice are both of these carts yours I stated yes. She said are you gonna purchase these or put them on layaway with a very mean facial expression! I informed her all the larger items I was going to purchase and the smaller items I would put on layaway!
She went on to say You know you only have 4 1/2 weeks to pick up your layaway! I responded that's ok! I can't take it all with me today I am alone with a baby!! She went on to imply that I only have 4 1/2 weeks to get it out as if I couldn't afford the items that were in the cart!
And that she was running out of space in the back for the layaway that people won't come pick up! Instantly tears fell down my eyes REALLY! She embarrassed and insulted me in front of the whole store! I explained to her that I was offended I wanted to speak to a supervisor Turns out she was the supervisor!!
I told her do you know I shop at babies R Us all the time I am regular customer! Do you know despite that I am dressed down I am a young educated person! It is so sad that because I was dressed down in jeans and gym shoes that I was treated so unfairly that out of all the people shopping she singled me out! Not knowing that I am a middle class hard working American!
I ended buying my daughters cell phone and leaving the store without the gifts I so needed for my children! It is so sad that around the holidays someone could intentionally ruin and destroy your shopping experience! I have spent so much money in babies R Us alone this year!
I buy everything from them diapers and etc but after today's experience of being singled out and experiencing prejudice at its worst I don't think I will ever shop there again! I left the store literally in tears
Toys R Us - Crib Review
I called Stone Ridge toys r us in Rochester NY to find out where the crib I ordered last week was. I representative told me it was on a truck somewhere.
I explained when I ordered it, it stated that it would be at the store for pick up in 3-5 days. The customer service rep at the store responded with "well I don't know what to tell you"... seriously.. then I asked to speak with a manager and spoke with 4 other people prior to getting the manager on the phone who's response was, " I will talk to her"...
very shocked at the level of *** customer service. I most likely will not be including the toys r us insert with the baby invitations to tell people my daughter is registered there.

Toys R Us - Unnecessary Suffering Review
Toys r us Parma Ohio had a huge sale of impossible to get Christmas toys. Hatchimals and Nintendo 2 hours before doors opened there were 70 people in line.
It was very cold outside. Eventually there were over 150. A male employee from the store was outside managing the crowd. He had on a tshirt and a sweater.
The rest of us were shivering When the store opened we were still kept outside in the line. There was no where near the max occupancy in the store. No where near. It wasn't even slightly crowded.
After 40 min I went up and complained for the third time They didn't want too many people in line at the same time so the cashiers weren't "overwhelmed". Not every register was open. It was REALLY cold especially after a 2 hour wait outside was turning to 3 FOR NO REASON. After really pressing him I was allowed in with my 2 companions.
I think he could tell I was really becoming desperate for warmth. Other people drove up parked and walked in the store while we were kept in line for fear of loosing our hatchimal ticket. We were able to get the toy although I still need one more. Getting up at 4 am should have been enough.
There was no need to freeze any longer than necessary to accommodate the store I won't be going back to toys r us. Walmart let's you wait inside.

Having a problem that is taking three days to resolve or better yet three days for anyone to help with my problem. Bought five gift cards at a store .
The cards were placed in a small bag with receipt . When I got home and open the bag that was folded up in my purse I only got four gift cards. I bought five 50.00 gift cards. Contacted manager at store immediately .
She assured me I would be given a new card. Went in store and now she is telling me the card was spent and it will take 60 days to investigate . I am not happy at all and will probably not do business with the store again.
The number I was given to call you can't get a real person on the phone . After doing my own research trying to contact someone further up the ladder.
Total Screw Up
I placed an order online to pick up in store, was supposed to be ready in less than an hour. I was to receive an email informing that it would be ready and my son was going to pick it up.
Hours went by and not email so I told him to go ahead and go to the store and pick it up because I had just been notified that my debit card was charged. While he was at the store I received an email that my order had been cancelled because they could not fulfill it. Meanwhile my son said the item was sitting right on the store shelf. They would not refund my money ASAP was told I had to wait 5 days.
I complained to customer service and all they did for me was apologize and reissue my Rewards Certificate that I had applied, like that was my major concern. Such a lack of customer service not to mention a total screw up that should never have happened.
Pink
their is too much pink for girls. It is not supposed to be gender based.
add some blue and green. the only reason girls like pink is because they are living in a world where girls are meant to like pink, and well be girly! In my opinion, pink is the worst color ever! I would wear any other color but it.
barbie is obssesed with pink. it is teaching girls to be like her. even in lego friends there is alot of pink. i found out that lego friends is easier than the lego for boys.
i was furious!

Double charged my debit card
Toy R Us double charged me on an item and refuse to admit it or refund me. I've called three times and each time it takes forty minutes for someone to answer and when they do they are very rude and will not listen to me!
I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 45 minutes, she then transferred me to Toy R Us Canada so I was right back where started and had wasted about an hour and a half. I was told "shipping was free", but they charged me $15.00 "freight" and a 39.99 item has me set back $193.92.
I now have two overdraft charges. Don't order online from Toys R Us!

Package never came; Hard to get to a human to resolve
Toys R Us almost non-existent Customer Service: I won't use Toys R us online again not because there was a problem (problems happen) but because they make it very hard to resolve the problem. I placed an order online on 12/18/16 that said it would arrive by 12/23.
It is now 12/29 and it has not arrived and of course I have been billed already. This "free shipping" cost me an hour of my time today trying to find a way to reach a human to alert that I haven't received the package. Turns out the package never shipped. (Online it looks like it shipped but Fedex said they never received it.) What can a person do except talk with another person to track the problem?
Toys R Us tries to make that impossible. Their phone system simply offered me incorrect recorded info. the info that my package had shipped. I tricked the system and eventually reached a human who told me that the order never shipped and she would re-order it for me.
Now we wait another 2-5 days to see if it comes.
She was kind and did her best, but it is totally unsatisfactory. They should be overnighting the package at this point.

They Will Rip You Off!!!!
Three different items I wanted became available at separate times in the same day. I had to get them all in three separate orders.
All this while they were having a Buy One Get One 40% Off deal on the items. They will try to avoid losing money with that deal by making each eligible item available at separate times. I was able to cancel two of the items and order them together but not the third. Why?
Because if you want to cancel your order, you have to cancel it within 45 minutes of ordering it. Are you kidding me?? I didn't look into it at the time. Actually found this out the other day when I ordered some items, then went to a store a couple of hours later that had the same items.
I wasn't given the option to cancel my order so I called and they told me the order had to have been cancelled within 45 minutes of placing the order. RIP-OFF!!!!
