I placed an order on Dec 19 for store pick-up. I never received the email saying my order was ready to be picked up. Being pressed for time I called the store, I called 1800toysrus no one could help they just keep brushing me off, telling me it could take up to 5 days. Now very confused because I was thinking store pick up items were supposedly ready in 2 hours.

On Dec 23 I called the store# (6352) and talked to a manger Geto he offers me a call back in 10 minutes. Saying he would locate my item. He never called. But then the impossible, I got the email, my item is ready to be picked up. Now super excited rushing to the store only to get another email while I was in route saying thank you for picking up your item. Super confused because I hadn't gotten anything, I wasn't even at the store.

At the store they tell me they do not have it. But will be getting a truck on Dec 26 and would put one to the side for my order. Never happened. They never got it, Since then I have called over 20 times, spoke many reps even supervisors. They keep telling me they get back to me in 24-48 hours. Finally today Dec. 29 I called and spoke to a supervisor, she tells me the item is no longer available and a refund will take 7-10 business days. Oh *** are these people serious. How can I fix this? Does anyone know?

Monetary Loss: $170.

Store pick-up is not 2 hours. It is 5 to 10 business days, it says so right on the website when you order the item.

It is not simply picking something up from the store, Store pick-up means it is shipping it from the corporate warehouse to the store. So that is why you didn't hear anything by the 23rd, you ordered on the 19th... It sounds like you were calling the same day, it's not that kind of thing...

As far as the other part though, I have no idea what happened...

It sounds like someone somehow picked up your item by mistake, which really really sucks and that should have been resolved somehow, definitely... That shouldn't happen...
