Toys R Us - No product in stock to back up sale price
So to add to my complaint. Today the products they cancelled because they were out of stock are now available on their website at full price (no longer at the sale price). Aargh!!!!
I ordered 11 items recently from their website. The order processed and my credit card processed.
I got an order confirmation and then a week later I got an e-mail saying the order was CANCELLED. No rain check, no back order - JUST CANCELLED. There is no phone number or contact info in the e-mail which I am sure is so it is more difficult to call them to complain. How can you put things on sale for Christmas and then not honor your own sale.
This is a horrible retailer with horrible customer service.
I am DONE shopping here and will take my business elsewhere. If they don't need me as a customer I certainly don't need them.
Monetary Loss: $150.

I had the exact same experience with their Black Friday sale. A 50% off item I'd been looking for for quite a while was in my "allocated" status for a week, then I got a note saying "cancelled" because they didn't have inventory on hand for it.
